INCLUSIVE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS- PENTRU VOI

Read the article related to the development of an inclusive employment programs. Pentru Voi have succeeded to employ 23 persons with intellectual disabilities on the open market and 46 persons at Pentru Voi Social Enterprise. The social enterprise has a turnover of 22,094 Euro in just four months since its opening and it is a real business.
They are especially happy about the success of their mobile teams who work at the premises of the factories. Nestle recently chose to partner with Pentru Voi when it needed to hire some temporary workers at their Timisoara factory. Since September 17, ten persons with intellectual disabilities have been working 40 hours a week doing packaging such as putting together Nescafe with After Eight mints for an upcoming Nestle product promotion. For the next two months, they will continue to work there and earn a salary from Nestle that is more than twice the national minimum wage. They are working at Nestle factory and interact very well with the other employees, have a coffee together or talk during lunch break. They have been doing such a good job that Nestle recently asked for another ten people from Pentru Voi to come and do packaging work at the factory.
All these 69 persons with intellectual disabilities are very happy to be working, earning a salary and contributing.
