Notice of departure of Valerie Bloomfield

She was sad to leave as she has enjoyed working with our members all over the world and closely identifies with our aims and our work. In the year and half that Valerie has been with us she has made a terrific contribution to establishing our office in London and developing our communication systems, particularly the web site.
We will try to recruit a new administrator as quickly as we can. It will probably take several months to review the job description and go through the advertising and selection process to find the right person, especially since we are approaching the holiday season in London. In the meantime Raquel Gonzalez who has been working closely with Valerie for several months will cover the office and Fred Heddell our treasurer will to help her and cover some of the work. This may mean that we are not able to answer the telephones and Emails as quickly as we would like but we will do our best.
We will keep you up to date with progress over the next few weeks and, in the meantime you can also contact us directly if you need to.
